| Discreet & Professional Remediation
Sometimes when a person dies, their body may not be found for days, weeks or months. This is commonly referred to as an unattended death.
Most people understand the risks of exposure to blood-borne pathogens, such as HIV and Hepatitis, but other risks are associated with these scenes. Exposure to these scenes may result in flu-like illness or attacks on the respiratory system – odors associated with unattended death (human decomposition) can be extremely pungent and psychologically disturbing. These scenes are better left to professionals that specialize in blood and biological fluid recovery, utilizing state-of-the art personal protective equipment and approved industry procedures.
With an unattended death scene cleanup, there may not be a lot of blood, but there are other issues. After death, the body begins the decomposition process within four minutes. Along with the decomposition process, vectors (blow flys and other insects) begin to show up and dine on the host. This results in cross-bio contamination – careful attention must be paid to the expanded affected area. In addition, over the course of days, liquids seep from the body affecting building materials rendering the structure both physically and psychologically a hostile environment. Rather than cause more harm to you and/or your family, it is better to let Rapid Response with their specialized equipment and training professionally clean, disinfect and bio-test for clearance your unattended death cleanup needs.
Rapid Response will return the indoor environment to not only visually clean, but we will show each client that their incident site has been made biologically better than “Food Grade Safe” for peace of mind.
When disposing of bio hazardous, drug contaminated or medical waste, we create manifests to keep track of this waste to ensure that it is disposed of properly. We guarantee that all bio hazardous waste will not end up in a landfill or transfer station.
